PRODUCT HERO VISUALS

One frame that has to sell the product on its own.

A hero visual is the frame that has to work with no motion, no voiceover and no second chance — the one on the homepage, the billboard, the listing thumbnail. Shooting it properly means a studio, a stylist and a day. I produce it with AI pipelines and my own art direction, at print resolution, with the product rendered from your own photography rather than approximated.

The accuracy work is the real work. I build a reference model on your product images so shape, finish and proportion are right, then composite the actual label, logo and legal text from your artwork files at the end. Generators cannot spell a brand name reliably, and a customer who notices a wrong logo stops reading the ad. So that part never gets generated.

Deliverables are files, not concepts: hero stills at 4000 px and up, key art with clear space planned for headline and logo, background families for different placements, and square white-background crops that pass marketplace listing rules. Two revision rounds are built in — one at composition, one at finish — because a composition change after the final pass restarts the render.

WHAT I DO

  • Hero still set — five to ten final frames, 4000 px on the long edge as standard, upscaled further for outdoor or press.
  • Product reference model trained on your own photography, so the item in frame is yours down to the seam and the stitch.
  • Key art — one locked composition with headline position, logo placement and clear space planned into the frame, not cropped in later.
  • Label and logo compositing from your real artwork files, so printed surfaces, legal text and lock-ups are correct rather than invented.
  • Background and surface families — the same product on three or four grounds so one shoot covers site, deck, print and retail.
  • Retouch and upscale pass at full size: edges, reflections, material texture and shadow contact checked rather than hidden by a soft crop.
  • Marketplace crops — square, white-background versions sized and padded to Amazon and Flipkart listing rules.

HOW I WORK

  1. 01

    REFERENCE

I collect your product photos, flat pack artwork and any old shoot, and write down what about the product must never change.

  2. 02

    TRAIN

A reference model is built on your images and tested against a frame I already know the correct answer to.

  3. 03

    RENDER

Composition options get generated, the ones with wrong geometry or a drifted logo get killed, and you approve from the survivors.

  4. 04

    FINISH

Real artwork composited, retouch and upscale pass, then export at print, web and marketplace sizes.

BEST FOR

  • A product that exists and sells, but has never been photographed well.
  • Catalogues too large to shoot — many SKUs, colourways or sizes of the same body.
  • Campaigns that need one composition to survive print, outdoor and a 400 px thumbnail.
  • Listings where image quality is the weak link and the product itself is fine.

NOT THIS

  • Not video. Motion, films and ad cuts are produced on the sibling pages under this service; this page ends at a still frame.
  • Not a real tabletop shoot. If you need a photograph of the physical unit on a real set — a compliance or certification requirement, say — that is Cinematic Production, which I direct rather than shoot.
  • Not packaging artwork. I do not produce dielines, print-ready pack files or regulatory label layouts; I composite the artwork you already have.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Shape, finish, proportion and colour, yes — that is what the reference model is for, and it is the part generic AI imagery gets wrong. Small print, serial plates and logo lock-ups are where generators still fail, so those are composited from your own artwork at the end instead of being trusted to a render. Send flat artwork early if the surface is heavily printed.
